The Architecture of Trust

Whenever a technology company asks for your trust, they point you toward their Privacy Policy.

It is typically a multi-page legal document filled with qualified assurances: how your data is collected, how it is stored across central servers in foreign jurisdictions, and the conditions under which it might be shared with third parties. Yet history has shown us a simple truth: policies are written by lawyers, hosted on remote servers, and subject to change whenever commercial incentives shift or corporate ownership changes hands.

Policy-based privacy asks you to trust corporate goodwill. Architectural privacy relies on mathematics, hardware boundaries, and physical isolation.
